ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems
To earn this introduction to ISO 50001 Energy Management Systems credential, participants must demonstrate the ability to identify the key steps in the Energy Management cycle and determine what energy-related information should be reported and to whom.
They should understand the key roles within an organisation for effective ISO 50001 implementation and be proficient in using specialised tools for energy management, such as Monitoring and Targeting (M&T), audits, IPMVP, metering options and continuous commissioning.
Participants must also be capable of establishing data systems to monitor energy use and productivity, setting effective energy productivity targets, and conducting or commissioning audits to analyse energy consumption, identify cost-effective opportunities, and prioritise improvements.
