Goal Setting

To earn this credential, participants must demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and the fundamentals of science-based targets and nature-based solutions.

They should be familiar with goal-setting terminology and capable of translating values and strategies into actionable goals.

Participants must also be able to define and set both ambitious and realistic goals, understand SMART Goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound) along with their advantages and limitations, and grasp the concept of reverse goal setting.

Additionally, they should appreciate the importance of flexibility and contingency in goal setting and be familiar with tools and measures that support effective goal management.
